Man falls off Union Square subway platform, gets hit in leg by train

A commuter survived getting struck by a Q train in the Union Square station Wednesday night, police said.

The straphanger, a man in his 40s, fell onto the northbound tracks at about 7 p.m, cops said.

The conductor saw him, but couldn’t stop in time to avoid hitting him, an MTA spokeswoman said.
