DAMAULI: Storm that hit Tanahun’s Bhanu Municipality a few days ago destroyed maize crops planted over 400 ropani land in the district.
Former teacher Baburam Khanal said storm had battered maize crops planted by more than 50 farmers. The colossal damage caused by the storm has left the farmers in a lurch. The storm destroyed vegetables and fruits as well.
Agriculture offices under the local levels said they are collecting details of the damage. Meanwhile, the storm blew away rooftops of two houses in Bhanu Municipality on Saturday.
