During the opening minutes of a nationally televised game against D.C. United, Philadelphia Union player Alejandro Bedoya scored a goal and raced over to the on-field microphone to call on Congress to “end gun violence.”
“Hey Congress, do something now! End gun violence! Let’s go!” Bedoya shouted.
