Buses zoom along 14th St. now that NYC officials have kicked out cars

A bus ride on 14th St. is downright speedy now that officials have banned cars from most of the crosstown Manhattan corridor, according to MTA data released Thursday.

Buses’ average speed is up by about 30% on the once-crowded street, the numbers show.
