Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes woman, 65, in Brooklyn

A driver slammed into a woman as she crossed a Brooklyn intersection Wednesday night, leaving her to die in the street.

The 65-year-old victim was crossing Ocean Ave., near Emmons Ave. in Sheepshead Bay, just before 5 p.m., when the driver turned right onto Ocean and struck her, cops said.
