An NYPD officer shot and critically wounded a person during a confrontation in Brooklyn Tuesday night, police sources said.
The shooting took place just before 8 p.m. at the Gowanus Houses, on Baltic Ave. near Hoyt St.
About 10 shots were fired during the confrontation, sources said.
