Rise in women applicants for JEE-Main 2020 January exams

Compared to last year there are 15,247 more women aspirants who have applied for engineering entrance this year. The number of male candidates, however, for the engineering tests have decreased by over 20,000 this year. In all, for engineering and architecture, a total of 11.18 lakh candidates have registered for the January 2020 exam as compared to 11 lakh in January 2019.
