Ex-Harvard fencing coach arrested in alleged $1.5 million plot to sneak telecom CEO’s sons into Ivy League

Peter Brand, the 67-year-old axed coach from Cambridge, Mass., and Jie “Jack” Zhao, 61, of Potomac, Md., were arrested and charged Monday in the alleged bribery scheme dating back to 2012, federal prosecutors in Boston said.
