More countries ban travel from U.K. as health secretary admits new COVID mutation is ‘out of control’

Canada, India and Argentina joined a growing list of countries banning flights from the U.K. over fears of a new and apparently more infectious coronavirus strain. More than 30 nations have announced similar actions since Saturday, when British Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered a strict lockdown in London and surrounding areas in a frantic attempt to stop a surge of infections in that region.
