U.K. becomes first nation in the world to officially approve Pfizer COVID vaccine

The United Kingdom on Wednesday became the first country in the world to approve the coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and its German partner, BioNTech, with an initial wave of inoculations scheduled to begin next week.
