U.S. unemployment rate edges down to 6.7% amid disappointing recovery

The U.S. economy added just 245,000 jobs last month, the fewest since April, as employers dramatically scaled back hiring amid an alarming resurgence of coronavirus infections across the country, the Labor Department said Friday.
