‘I no longer exist’: Woman struggling to prove she’s not dead after colossal error by French court

A French woman has been trying to prove she’s alive after a court wrongly declared her dead three years ago. Jeanne Pouchain, 58, is alive and well, was never in a coma and did not try to commit insurance fraud. But a stunning decision by a Lyon court in 2017 deemed her dead even though no death certificate was ever produced.
