New Jersey woman who scammed GoFundMe donors with fake homeless vet story to be sentenced

A New Jersey woman who admitted scamming more than $400,000 from GoFundMe donors by fabricating a heartwarming tale about a homeless veteran is set to be sentenced in federal court Friday. Katelyn McClure, who spent the money on fancy cars and trips to casinos, could face up to four years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
