‘Wipeout’ contestant who collapsed during show died of heart attack, autopsy finds

The 38-year-old man who collapsed during a taping of the TBS game show “Wipeout” died of a heart attack, a California coroner’s office revealed Friday. Michael Paredes had just completed one of the show’s obstacle courses on Nov. 18 when he lost consciousness and had to be taken to a hospital.
