Uber driver accused of trapping woman inside his car in bizarre kidnapping attempt: cops

An Uber driver in Massachusetts appeared in court Monday after police accused him of trapping a passenger in his car in a failed kidnapping attempt last week. Kamal Essalak, 47, reportedly pleaded not guilty to a kidnapping charge in connection to the frightening incident Thursday night in Boston’s Brighton neighborhood.
