Another prosecution expert blames George Floyd’s death on asphyxia, rejects heart attack and overdose

A forensic pathologist testified Friday that the “primary mechanism” of George Floyd’s death was “asphyxia or low oxygen,” adding to a growing list of experts rejecting an argument by Derek Chauvin’s defense that Floyd died from illegal drug use or heart disease.
