George Floyd friend to appear in court for Derek Chauvin trial, expected to plead the Fifth

A man who was with George Floyd the day he died will be called to the witness stand in the Derek Chauvin murder trial even as he plans to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights, the judge presiding the case announced Monday.
