German software tycoon makes historic donation to Green Party for upcoming election

German software developer Mortiz Schmidt made his fortune off of Bitcoin, one of the most highly traded cryptocurrencies in the world. Now, as Germany gears up for their upcoming election, he donated one million euros to the Green Party with the hopes of banning the cryptocurrency in the country all together.
