Hester Ford, oldest person in U.S., and possibly the world, dies age 115

Hester Ford, the oldest known person in the U.S. and possibly on Earth, has died. She was 115 or 116. She passed away peacefully in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, surrounded by family in the home she had lived in for more than 59 years.
