Mississippi mayor apologizes for ‘sins of our past’ in 1970 shootings by cops

During a graduation ceremony for the class of 1970 at the historically black university Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba along with Mississippi State Senator Hillman Frazier, apologized to the families of two men who were shot by police over 50 years ago.
