Disney World to debut new nighttime spectaculars for 50th anniversary as new attractions, shows, hotel reopenings on deck

Talk about explosive news. Disney World will debut two new nighttime spectaculars on Oct. 1 to kick off its 50th anniversary festivities, which will stretch out over 18 fun-filled months. They’ll arrive in time for the reopening of the Polynesian Village Resort at the end of July and for an action-packed summer and fall as the easing of pandemic restrictions makes travel a lot more appealing.
