Diabetes screenings for overweight adults should start at age 35 instead of 40: new national guidelines

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 13% of all adults (18 years or older) in the U.S. have diabetes, and 34.5% meet criteria for prediabetes.
