Broward County Sheriffs offer ‘staycation’ in earnest Facebook post seeking ‘rightful owner’ of 770 pounds of pot seized from storage facility

From fighting crime to issuing traffic tickets, police have nothing but the best interests of the public at heart. And sometimes that entails helping reunite people with their lost property. In Florida the Broward County Sheriff’s Office offered to do just that in a Facebook post earnestly seeking the “rightful owner” of a 770-pound marijuana stash discovered in a storage facility in Viera, an affluent, master-planned coastal community about 50 miles southeast of Orlando.
