Disney World officially kicks off 50th birthday celebrations that’ll go on for 18 months

Disney World turned 50 on Friday, and everyone’s invited to the 18-month long birthday bash. “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” — which kicks off this weekend and runs through April 1, 2023 — will pay tribute to the past while also introducing new attractions, nighttime fireworks shows, restaurants and more. Expect the usual Disney-sized price tags.
