Economist who studied impact of raising minimum wage in New Jersey wins Nobel prize

The 2021 Nobel prize for economics was jointly awarded Monday to three U.S.-based economists who used natural experiments to answer some of society’s biggest questions, including whether raising the minimum wage leads to fewer jobs.
