Mom takes plea deal in death of disabled daughter who was found dehydrated in filthy, roach-infested home

A Louisiana mom has been sentenced to decades in prison after accepting a last-minute plea deal Monday in the death of her disabled daughter, who was dehydrated and severely underweight when cops found her body inside a roach-infested home in 2018, authorities said.
