Jury convicts Texas man who strangled Black transgender woman, dumped her body in lake after learning she was trans

Chynal Lindsey’s body was pulled from White Rock Lake on June 1, 2019. She had been beaten and strangled, according to investigators. She was found with a belt around her neck and had hemorrhages in her brain, an autopsy showed.
