Off-duty deputy in North Carolina says in 911 call he shot unarmed pedestrian after he jumped on his truck

Authorities in North Carolina are investigating a weekend shooting an off-duty police officer said was triggered by a pedestrian running into the middle of the road, and then jumping onto the hood of his vehicle.
