Over 40% of trans people in U.S. are teens and young adults, suggesting sharp rise in number of trans youth: UCLA report

The report, released by the UCLA Williams Institute, found that the number of trans-identified adults in the U.S. has remained steady at 1.6 million, but the number of trans youth, ages 13 to 25, nearly doubled since 2017, though that study used a different methodology.
