North Carolina health plan to resume gender-affirming care for trans employees, officials say

In June, U.S. District Judge Loretta C. Biggs ruled that denial of coverage for gender-affirming constituted discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin.
