3 physicists share Nobel Prize for work on quantum science

Three scientists jointly won this year’s Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday for their work on quantum entanglement, a “totally crazy” field once of philosophical musings that is developing into somewhat promising real-world use, such as secure encryption of information.
